Pet Supply Donations in NY & MA
Every Pet Deserves a Full Bowl & a Forever Home
Benson’s CARES provides no-cost pet supplies to shelters and rescue groups across Upstate New York.
Simple Ways to Make
a Big Difference
Benson’s CARES runs on community support. Whether you give time, supplies, or a donation, every action helps pets live healthier, happier lives on their way to forever homes.
Our Mission
Benson’s CARES’ mission is to minimize pet abandonment and assist in the healthy care of homeless pets until they can be adopted into permanent homes.
What We Do
At Benson’s CARES, we collect and distribute pet food and care supplies—like litter, toys, beds, and more—to animal rescues and shelters. Our work is made possible through generous customer donations, vendor partnerships, and the ongoing support of Benson’s Pet Center.
What Community Can Do
Thanks to the incredible support of our neighbors and partners, we’ve donated thousands of pounds of pet food, served countless local rescues and individuals, and supported hundreds of dogs and cats in need.

Testimonials
Real Stories. Real Impact.
“Everyone I talked to at the pantry was so friendly. Michelle showed me how the pantry was organized and I could tell how excited she was to help our clients. Pet food & supplies can be quite expensive, and since all my clients are just getting back on their feet financially, or starting over completely, this pantry has been such a valuable & helpful resource.”
“When I left my home, I had nothing but a suitcase and my dog. He’s been my comfort through everything. When I saw the donated pet food and toys waiting for us at Wellspring, I cried. It was the first time in a long time I felt seen—not just as a survivor, but as someone who still had a family, even if that family walks on four legs.”
