Farrah’s story began outdoors, where she was caring for her tiny orange kittens. She found a kind man who fed her and even tried to let herself into his home—but the resident cats weren’t too happy to share their space. Now about 2 years old, Farrah is safe, spayed, and slowly adjusting to life as an indoor cat.

Farrah enjoys being petted, but it has to be on her terms. She’s still a bit timid and will need a patient adopter to help her feel secure. Because of her shy demeanor and unknown history, she would do best in a quiet home without small children or dogs.

Farrah may be cautious now, but with time and patience, she has the potential to become a loyal and affectionate companion.

Poe completes the Edgar, Allen, and Poe trio, three bonded brothers rescued together. At about 4 years old, Poe is the most reserved of the group. He’s happiest bird-watching with Edgar and Allen or cozying up with them for naps. While shy with people, he’s food-motivated and will warm up slowly with patience.

Little Bean is one of our longest-term residents, and she’s patiently waiting for the right person to come along. Rescued from the streets as an adult, Bean isn’t feral and she isn’t mean—she’s simply terrified. Her past is a mystery, but what we do know is that she deserves a safe, loving home where she can finally exhale.

Bean needs a consistent, patient adopter who will give her the time and space she needs to learn that humans can be trusted. She should not go to a home with small children or dogs, as too much noise and energy can overwhelm her. What she does love? Other cats. Bean finds comfort in their company and would thrive in a home with friendly feline companions to show her the ropes.
